Sensitive heritage reconstruction work included the treatment of rust and thorough preparation of all surfaces. Master heritage painter, Gary Lancaster, needed to fill and sand down the surfaces multiple times in order to achieve a smooth finish. This was followed by top quality heritage repaint work using super premium quality paint. And finally, Gary applied his heritage sign writing skills to reproduce the name “Tancred” to the front of the helm by hand.
